chocolate

(18th June)

Been a really crazy night with these girlies. Laughed with tons of chocolate in our mouths and lied about being 18 so we could get champagne. We got juice in the end though haha. Haven't seen all of them the past whole holiday and it feels so good to be catching up with them and talking about everything. Everyone, even Celeste were in dresses and skirts awwh. Too bad Claudia was in bangkok cleansing herself and couldn't come :-( Also, I have decided we're gonna be called chinkss, the extra S for Shannon <3 Haha but seriously one of the best nights in my life.

finally fifteen

This is life before you know who you're gonna be, fifteen.

Spent my morning in school running up and down the 7-storeyed building 5 times and played court but it kinda is great to be spending my birthday doing what I love most with people who make me happy. Ate birthday lunch with the netties too haha. 

Ah ma texted me if I was free for lunch and we decided to go for waffles. She loves waffles like crazy hahaha. Went home to bathe and we headed to Salted Caramel. We took half an hour finding a parking lot though. Love her so much haha feels so great to be seated there with your grandma and just talking and laughing and eating. 

Went home afterwards and fell asleep hahaha. Then headed for dinner with the family :-) Oh and believe it or not I didn't even cut my birthday cake cause I was suffering from chocolate overload. The mille fille at the restaurant was really nice though. Had a really great day with people who mean the most to me. <3

Fifteen doesn't too feel different, though.

Universal Studios Singapore

Had such a great time at USS with the netties! Went there at 9.30 in the morning and queued behind the gates waiting for USS to open! Then we ran to Transformers hahaha it was so funny me Jamie Celeste and Jaclyn ended up walking because we were too unfit. Teri and Rachel the excited kids literally ran all the way there. Oh, it ended up having technical difficulties and would only be open later. Bummer. Haha ok so we continued running to The Mummy ride and were the first ones there! Super funny omg after the ride we went to see the picture and our faces were all priceless. 

Right, then we prepped Rachel and Jac and went to sit Battlestar Galactica! Human first though. After the ride Jaclyn was like "Can we ride again...? /delirious smile" HAHAHA. Ok then we prepped them again and went for Cylon! Best ride ever aaah. The adrenaline rush after the ride is just so.. so.. idk amazing? Then we hugged Rachel and Jac cause they made it through the ride haha :-)) OHOH and we sang songs on every ride haha! Like Call Me Maybe and Chasing The Sun and Fun! Then we went to the diner to have lunch! After lunch we toured the place and took more pictures :-) And we finally went to sit transformers! Queued a good hour but the ride was really worth it :-)

Rode Cylon a total of 8 times so fun!!! Me Celeste and Teri were in the first row making troll faces hahaha. Then in the shop the guy was laughing at us and persuaded us to buy it. We wanted to but our money was in the locker and we forgot afterwards :-( Oh and we made friends with this super cute couple haha. Then me and Rachel ran through the fountain and got wet haha.

Love you babes <3 Best 12 hours spent ever thank you guize for giving me the best last day of my 14 year-old life ever :-)

Roadtrip

Day 1

Woke up bright and early and drove up to malacca with the whole fam.

Had a really great time here in malacca. We did so much in a day and took so many photos!

First we checked in then went over to Jonker Street for lunch and a did bit of shopping as well. Went to the famous chendol store and ate chendol and chicken wings! I don't really like chendol but their chendol is really good. Ok then at about 5 plus we went over to Mahkota to eat super yummy mille crepe. GPS-ed outr way over to Bei Zhan for dinner which serves really good authentic chinese food! 

I love malacca so much it's such a beautiful town. It's so rich in heritage and exuberates such vibrance. Really miss that place :'(

Drove up to KL on day 2 and practically spent the whole day shopping! Left everything in the hotel so no pictures.

Day 3

Went to Overseas Restaurant and had the most divine pork and char siew ever!!! Ordered other things too and they were all so super good! Then headed off to do more shopping. :-)

My parents are the cutest hahaha. Had a casual dinner at some place my uncle brought us to :-) The hokkien mee and fried rice was really nice. The hokkien mee is black btw hahaha. Then we walked over next door for really tall paper prata!  

SO LONG RIGHT HAHAHA. It was damn nice too!!!

Day 4

Went to Sunway for more shopping!

It's the first time we all went travelling together but it was so fun nonetheless! It was such a great trip it was like a makan parade we just went to all the nice places to eat and eat!!! We all felt so sad driving back to SG though :-( Back to reality.. Oh and I didn't take much pictures in KL cause most of the time we were shopping haha.
